COMPOSITION:
Eacj tablet contains Clindamycin HCl (equivalent to Clindamycin base 110 mg)
DOSAGE:
Abscesses, wounds and infections of the oral cavity: 5.5 mg/kg of body weight every 12 hours or 11 mg/kg of body weight every 24 hours, for 5-10 days (if no clinical response is observed within 4 days the diagnosis should be reconsidered).
Osteomyelitis: 11 mg/kg of body weight every 12 hours for at least 28 days. If no clinical response is observed within 14 days, treatment should be discontinued and the diagnosis reconsidered.
Superficial pyoderma: 11 mg/kg of body weight every 24 hours, for 21 days or up to 10 days after resolution of clinical signs (total treatment between 3 and 6 weeks, maximum).
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not administer to rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, chinchillas, horses, or ruminants, as ingestion of clindamycin by these species can cause severe gastrointestinal distress that may lead to death. Use of this veterinary medicinal product is not recommended in newborn puppies.
PRECAUTIONS:
The person administering the medication should wash their hands after handling the tablet.
