COMPOSITION:

Each tablet contains Doxycycline base (as hyclate) 100mg/tablet

INDICATIONS:

Indicated in Dogs and Cats for the treatment of canine Ehrlichiosis (Ehrlichia canis), infectious oral and dental conditions (stomatitis, periodontitis, gingivitis), infections of the digestive, respiratory, bone, genitourinary systems caused by Gram-positive bacteria (Staphylococcus spp, Streptococcus spp, Bacillus anthracis, Clostridium spp, Corynebacterium spp), Gram-negative bacteria (Escherichia coli, Pasteurella spp, Bordetella spp, Campylobacter spp, Leptospira spp), Mycoplasmas and Rickettsias.

DOSAGE:

Administer 10 mg of doxycycline orally per kilogram of body weight. In practice, administer 1 Doxisec tablet per 10 kg of body weight every 24 hours for 3 to 5 days in acute conditions and up to 10 days in chronic conditions. In cases of ehrlichiosis, extend the treatment to 30-40 days.

PRECAUTIONS:

Do not use on pregnant animals
