Cimalgex chewable tablets can be administered orally, with or without food. The chewable tablets contain flavoring and most dogs will swallow them voluntarily. The recommended dosage of Cimicoxib is 2 mg/kg of body weight, once daily, according to the following

Duration of treatment: – Perioperative pain management due to orthopedic or soft tissue surgery: 1 dose two hours before surgery, followed by 3 to 7 days of treatment, as directed by the veterinarian. – Relief of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis: 6 months. – For longer-term treatments, regular monitoring by the veterinarian is required.
